The Clean Water Tour

Get on the bus and join the Clean Water Tour!

Hosted by the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission, Van Buren County Road Commission and the Van Buren Conservation District.

Cost is $5.00 (includes dinner, bus and program materials).The tour will depart and return to Covert Township Hall at 73943 E. Lake Street,Covert (off of M-140 between Watervliet and South Haven).

5:00 p.m. - Introductions
5:15 p.m. - Tour departs from Covert, with stops at the site of a new bridge that was built toreduce erosion at a road/stream crossing; a wetland site to showcase the importantfunctions wetland perform; a site where a rain garden is filteringpolluted urban runoff
9:00 p.m. - Tour bus returns to Covert Township Hall
