Coldwater River Stream Monitoring: Insect Identification

The Coldwater River Watershed Volunteer Stream Monitoring Team is looking for people who like to get wet!

Sponsored by the Branch County Conservation District, insect identification within the Coldwater River watershed will take place on Wednesday, October 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please meet behind the Branch Area Career Center (corner of 366 Morse Street and Seeley) in Coldwater, Michigan.

Collected samples will help determine stream health and assist in finding stream hotspots. If you don’t mind getting a little wet and find aquatic insects / life interesting please consider becoming a Stream Team Volunteer.
